Jahangir ka Maqbara |Tomb of Emperor Jahangir (Mirza Nur-ud-Din Muhammad Salim). The Tomb (Maqbara) of Jahangir is a 17th Century mausoleum built for the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. The Maqbara was built for Mughal King Jahangir who ruled Mughal Empire (King) from 1605 to 1627 C.E. and died in the foothills of Kashir near the town of Rajauri on 28th October, 1627. His dead body was transferred from Kashmir to Lahore on Friday, 12 November, 1627. Jahangir has sons i.e. Shah Jahan, Khurrau Mirza, Parviz Mirza and Shahryar Mirza The mausoleum dates from 1637 and is located in Shahdara Bagh near city of Lahore, Pakistan, alonwith the banks of the Ravi River.
